January, the start of a new year- I can't believe we're in 2015!!
A big Clarky milestone this month was that he transitioned out of a crib into a big boy toddler bed. He's been going to bed so easily now (after a rough night or two) and seems to really love it. He giggles when he gets in it :)
Clark has also earned the loving nickname of Evil Genius. He's successfully jimmied the lock to his room, popped the zip-ties that held his gate up, figured out how to enter our 4 digit passwords on our iPhones, and can use sheer upper body strength to pull himself onto a counter in 3 seconds flat. It's certainly an adventure!! I just hope this non-stop determined nature carries into a passionate adulthood someday :)
Our biggest January news was that we announced that I'm pregnant with our second baby- due July 2015!! Clark used some of the below pictures to say "Every Super Hero Needs A Sidekick! Coming in July". We thought it was a fun way for our 'Clark Kent' to announce his new sibling :)
Such a big boy!
This is the semi-guilty face of a boy who feels semi-bad about stealing a graham cracker
Obsessed with the snowfall <3
Watching the snow come down
Crazy Dance Parties are a regular after-dinner occurrence. And Clarky's got the moves!!
Here's a personal dance favorite :) We love it too!
Oh, my beauty boy <3 <3 So love this kid!
My nephew strumming away on the guitar. He and Clark spent most of New Years playing this thing. Future rock band??
My friend Jen and her darling daughter Abby are some of our favorite play date buddies. Clark talks about 'Baby Abby' for days after their visits and asks to pray for her at night- cuteness! Abby is one of the sweetest, smiliest littles I know, and SO photogenic, I just had to snap a few!
This photo is labeled SAD DAY. :( AKA the day my favorite lens broke...again... Clark was hamming it up and being so adorable when- sigh- this happened. Luckily Canon is fixing it free of charge because it's been only a few months since it last acted up. But I miss it and am SO upset to miss these moments :(
We joke that Clark's 3 ducks are a perfect representation of our little family.
Army Christian duck = Steve,
Super Baby Duck= Clark,
Bright Color, Striped Duck= Me.
And then there's this <3 Love my little stinker.
With my favorite lens currently in the shop I was playing around with a few other lenses hoping to capture Clark's snuggly mood and actually be IN the photo. It absolutely did not turn out the way I envisioned- but the love is still there :)
Lots of Love,
Jessi
