Like many third trimester mamas I found myself constantly uncomfortable, extremely sleep deprived, and lacking the energy to go 'above and beyond'. Hey, if you can't eat a guilt-free fudgesicle in your jammies at 3:00PM when you're 9 months pregnant- when can you?? ;)
Therefore- I bring you a combined May & June blog... in mid-July.

Clark's been loving Pete's Dragon- or as he calls it "Dinosaur Songs". He sings all the songs and dances along with the music. It's adorable to watch him. He also started his obsession with 'Buzz' (Toy Story). Although he doesn't care for the original, we pretty much have the 2nd & 3rd movie memorized. We crack up when he 'blasts off' while yelling "And Beyond!!"
Steve wrapped up his 1st year of teaching and is very excited for Summer!! (Although with a newborn and toddler it may not be the relaxing break he envisioned. Not to mention he also has a few weeks away for drill!) But we are excited for sunny days, warm weather, and ANY excuse to be outside!
I spent May & June cramming in as many last minute sessions as I could- I didn't want to leave anyone out! In fact, I had a session the day before I had Rosie! Excited for a little maternity leave from all the hustle but very much looking forward to capturing lots of memories of my little lady.
Speaking of our little lady- here is the album of our sweet Roselyn Marie. <3
It's bizarre writing about May & early June since we didn't know her then.
And now that she's here we can't imagine NOT knowing and loving her!
But without further ramblings- here's our May & June memories. Life before our sweet little Rosie!

"Don't put Clark near a sprinkler fully clothed- he can't help himself!"
I was ignored.
Cue Clark in a diaper running blissfully through the water.
Summer ;)
These were the faces of a Clark spotting a sprinkler. The boy LOVES water!
Summer Sundays on the Porch. Is there anything better??
A boy + his Poppi <3
Things you never thoughts about until you became a toddler mom: How to dry out books saturated in pee that your son was reading in bed before he fell asleep. {PS- If you thought sanitizing the book and then blow drying it sounds like a good idea- stop! ALL the pages melt together. Not that I know from experience or anything...}
Forever grateful for this sweet boy who made me a mama. He's teaching me everyday how to be a
better mom- to find joy in simple pleasures- to sing in the rain
Singing in the rain. Oh my, how I love his little spirit.
Celebrated Father's Day with this amazing daddy. So grateful for my Stevie <3
I'm so glad when Steve grabs the camera because I never want C to doubt how kissed and squished
and squashed and tickled and cuddled and snuggled and LOVED he was when he looks back at
photos someday.
When your cutie pie crashes your photo shoot- mama's gonna snap a few
Daddy snuggles <3
Halfheartedly started potty training. Really he just likes washing his hands-
and being rewarded with chocolate ;)
{I only deepen the wound of the world when I neglect to give thanks for the heavy perfume of wild
roses in early July and the song of crickets on summer humid nights and the rivers that run and the
stars that rise and the rain that falls and all the good things that a good God gives- Ann Voskamp}.
Cherishing some simple beauty on a rainy day <3
I took this photo of Clark when I was 35 weeks pregnant with #2. I had spent the night in the hospital after being given medicine to slow my contractions down in an attempt for me to make it to 37 weeks. It was a long, painful night and though the contractions slowed they never fully stopped. But breakfast with this squish-o face reminded me that

So glad Gigi could spend a few days with us!!
Lazy mornings in Lake George
Took Gigi and Clark on their first trip up Prospect Mountain. I forced everyone to take pictures- and I'm SO glad I did- because these are some of my favorites!! <3 <3
Clark's 1st ever bus ride. He LOVED it!
The absolute adoration in this photo melts my heart <3
And let's face it, this dada deserves it.
Adventurin'
Absolutely ADORE these family photos! <3 <3

And last but not least, a mini shoot I did with Clarky the day before I had Rosie. The last pictures of him being my 'only'. I think there's something beautiful in that.
My beauty boy <3
The end of your adventures as a family of three ;)
Lots of Love,
